Time Code Debriefing

So I guess I'll be really unoriginal and lay out the basic chronicle, mimesis, and plot elements in Time Code.

Chronicle: It could be argued that there are four separate chronicles in this movie corresponding to the four separate screens. Each screen contains a separate account of what is happening in the film. There is also the main chronicle or the screen which the audience priveleges due to the fact that we can hear audio for that specific screen.

Mimesis: Since the audio plays for only one window at a time in the film, mimesis is provided by the three other screens which continue to play but without audio. These screens add to the story but we do not hear any dialogue.

Plot: All four windows together form the plot. Even though we can't always hear the dialogue for some of the screens, the actions which occur still fit into the entire plot. Additionally, the audio which priveleges some windows over others helps the audience to follow the plot line in the story. If the shooting scene was muted would the movie still have the same impact.
