Guess who has two thumbs and a potty-trained three year old?

This lady! Woo! Puplet basically trained himself in a day this weekend and now he doesn't even need a diaper at night. AMAZING.

Did I tell you guys I went to a Jack White concert a couple of months ago? I did! It was awesome! I only bring this up now because I went to a Pater Mulvey/Kris Delmhorst concert this weekend that was also excellent although in an ENTIRELY different way. Heh. This was my first time seeing PM again since my full-on conversion last year when I saw him playing a solo show, and it was really interesting to me how different his stage presence is when he is with someone else. He really tones it down and gives a lot of his energy to his on-stage partner, which must make him really great to work with as a musician. He and Kris were both, of course, freaking adorable and talented and very funny. I took some pictures, but I actually ended up having a terrible seat for photos, so I'm not sure how many I'll end up posting on my new photography-only tumblr, but I did just post this one today:

What you can't see in that picture are that Kris' tights were this amazing pink-stripey color.

Treehouse is a nice venue - small but not cramped, and with good sound. It's in the back of a restaurant, so you can buy delicious food to eat while you're waiting for the show. The sound of the restaurant also does not overtake the concert area, which I was a little concerned about going in. Plus we managed to catch the 10:30 ferry back home, which I did not think was possible, I got Kris' last CD (the one with the Cars covers), and PM played 'Shirt' with the gorgeous extended guitar intro, so excellent evening all around.

Apparently Tuesdays are my day to post to LJ now? IDEK. I need to get back to knitting. And vidding. My Festivids vid is...floundering. I feel like the perfect song is right at my fingertips, I just have to keep searching.
