18. The song "Egg Radio" (cover) by Peter Mulvey & the Crumbling Beauties
It is no secret that Peter Mulvey has swiftly become one of my very favorite artists, so I could put a number of songs here from him that I love. But this song from his recent standards album, The Good Stuff, immediately hit me with a warm, comforted, joyful feeling when I heard it. It's an instrumental, but the music says so much that words are unnecessary. It's perfect for a warm summer afternoon; I expect to be listening to it a lot over the next few months.

ION: My Summer of YAY begins this weekend with our first family RV trip. SO EXCITED. Expect an explosion of pictures on my Tumblr when we get back. Maybe someday I will find time to vid again, too, which would be great because if I don't get these Persuaders! vids out of my head my brain will explode. I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE OF THEM TO SHARE, YOU GUYS, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. Unless you've seen me in person in the last three weeks, in which case you are probably WELL AWARE.
