Not the TV series (my main feeling for that is: I AM EXCITE), but the book, which I'm re-reading.
I hadn't realized just how much of the detail of the books I've forgotten. It has been, literally, YEARS since I've ready any of the books, and at least 8 or 9 years since I read Game of Thrones (which I think I've only read twice, but maybe just once). But the feelings that I have associated with - ESPECIALLY the unjustness of everything surrounding Ned - are swarming back over me and I'm already DREADING the death scene. The killing of Sansa's direwolf was bad enough.
I'm much more forgiving of Sansa this time around and actually feel really fondly towards her. Arya is still amazing. I'm appreciating Robb a lot more and I'm actually interested in Bran (his chapters I recall only as being very boring, heh). Jon I was feeling warmly towards until he got to the Wall and then I remembered why I ended up annoyed with him, but even still I am handling it better than my original read-through.
I love Catelyn and her mama wolf ways. I am having very mixed feelings about Jamie since he changes SO MUCH over the course of the series; he starts out rather repugnant here at the beginning, though not, IMO, as much as Cersei. And actually with the knowledge of what comes before, he even seems less repugnant now than he did first time through. Cersei, though. UGH. UGHHHHHH. Same with Varys. I WANT to like Littlefinger, but. No. I KNOW TOO MUCH. I still hate Dany's brother as much as ever; I can't wait until he dies. Robert is pissing me off a LOT more this time through. A WHOLE LOT MORE.
And then there is Ned. NEEEEEEEEED. I adore him. He is totally my type of character, and the re-read just reinforces that. I don't want to get to the end of this book. THERE IS A MONSTER AT THE END OF THIS BOOK. *hides*
(I'm going to need a new GOT icon! Maybe one of Arya from the series since she is, basically, THE BEST.)

On a totally different note! I'm still doing Project 365 but as I work from home, I honestly don't get out of this radius much during the week and I'm struggling to think of interesting things to take pictures of. I'm considering a Toys' Eye View series, but I thought I'd come to you flist and ask: what would you like to see around the ole homestead? Or do you have any suggestions on themed weeks or something I could do? You're a creative bunch, and I'd appreciate the help!
Now to post my backlog of photos to Tumblr. Heh.
