YOU GUYS. Are you feeling down? Stop what you are doing and go read this post/watch this video about a 16-year old boy who knits blankets for babies. This is why I love humanity.
Things that make me proud of/impressed by humanity: the average 14-month old walking infant takes 15,000 steps a DAY and will fall 101 times A DAY. And yet they keep trying, every day, never letting it get them down! It's amazing how often I find myself learning from Puplet rather than the other way around. Their drive is so inspiring. (As I read somewhere, it's not about raising babies, it's about raising parents. Heh.)
The Vividcon Auction Vidders have been announced. Damn. Those are all awesome choices, which means prices are going to be high. But I am DETERMINED this year to finally get my Gene Hunt vid idea made. It needs to happen for Great Justice. I also was originally thinking it was only Life On Mars source since that's all I've seen, but upon reflection I think it needs to be both LOM and A2A. Should I say the song? I'll do it. I'M PUTTING IT OUT THERE, UNIVERSE. "Feel Good, Inc" by Gorillaz. RIGHT? RIGHT? Best. ever.
AHH and I finally watched this week's Castle last night. There is no way Beckett is dead, so it amuses me how the preview is playing it up like she is. Still, I'm very curious to see how she's NOT. And tonight we'll be watching the second episode of Justified. Woo! Can't wait!
