I have five potential vid storyboards open in front of me while I eat breakfast, and I'm idly going back and forth through them trying to find the one that's calling me the most strongly. (The Grease Vid Of Doom has been put on hold until I am someday in the right brainspace to actually get it to work; possibly this may be a very long time from now.)
Of the five that are open, three feature William Fichtner. Really, WF? Has it really come to this?
Speaking of: Prison Break is ending this Friday, and while I am on pins and needles to see how things turn out (I'm pretty heavily spoiled at this point, but there are still some things I don't know that I really am looking forward to finding out), I am also a little sad that our crazy, cracky show is going to be done. Until the two-hour direct-to-DVD movie in July of course. STILL. No more floppy hats. No more origami cranes. No more epic phone calls or T-Bag shenanigans or Gretchen being crazy-but-awesome or Sara being calm and confident or Self wielding his stupid badge or Krantz being all bald and snarky or Christina being, well, Christina or Linc being smash-tastic.
I can't believe how legitimately good the first season was, and then what it became in season 3. (And yet I have re-watched so many season 3 episodes and basically none of the season 1 eps - thus is the power of Alexander Mahone.) Season 4 has been up-and-down. I think it started strong, sagged a little bit in the middle, and is ramping up well for the final stretch.
I have no real point here, just a general free-floating sense of "Aw, show." It's time, Prison Break. The cell doors are open! Give us your best ridiculous scenario and go out with your floppy hatted head held high! Put down your chickenfoot and let us continue on into that sweaty night! Fold us into the origami crane of your heart and set us free!
I'll...I'll stop here before I torture any more metaphors.
(Just give us one tiny hug, though. That's all I want.)
I will leave you with
the terrible cover art for the DVD movie. Oh, show.
ETA: Shoot, forgot to warn you - DON'T READ THE COMMENTS to the post. The site is SpoilerTV, so they throw around spoilers for the finale in there because they figure only spoiled people are reading.
