Your hand won't write, not tonight / but your mind may wander

I didn't want to say this, because at one time, I liked and respected the man, but: John McCain, I hate you.

From his latest stump speech: "Let me give you the state of the race today. We have 22 days to go. We’re 6 points down. The national media has written us off. Senator Obama is measuring the drapes, and planning with Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid to raise taxes, increase spending, take away your right to vote by secret ballot in labor elections, and concede defeat in Iraq. But they forgot to let you decide. My friends, we’ve got them just where we want them."

These are the things that have specifically been addressed in each of the debates so far and shown to be false, with a (new to me) accusation of taking away the right to vote?! Are you KIDDING me?! ETA: Better explanation provided by rydra-wong below.

And if he says "my friends" one more time, I'm going to break something.

*breathes*

There is no new Prison Break tonight to make this all better, a fact which causes me more woe than it probably should. We have a whole extra week we have to wait! (The winter hiatus may kill us, you guys.) In order to get us through today, I propose we play a Make Your Own Episode Game. You give me the four items below, and then I put together an episode summary for you. And if you want, I'll give you the same and you can make an episode. What I need from you:

1. Character(s) involved (Must have at least one PB character; crossovers acceptable)
2. Place they go
3. An object (like, 'umbrella' or 'kitten' or 'nose')
4. One of the seven deadly sins (Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride)

And while we're here, another question: you get one episode of Prison Break to watch the rest of your life (it has to be an episode that actually exists!), which one is it and why?

This is a tough call for me. Probably based on the number of times I've watched it already, I might have to go with "Blow Out," because of the high Mahone content, the team shenanigans, amusing T-bag stuff, and the EPCoUA. Although I'm also leaning towards "Brother's Keeper" from season 1 (I loved that episode; the shot of backstory did my fannish interest a world of good). And the season 2 finale was also really good times. It's a tough call!

politics is fat and ugly, meme-tastic, prison break
