This post may not have much appeal to you, but I sure enjoyed making it!

Lately I have been all about the Ray/Ray in Due South fandom, for obvious reasons since the vid has essentially eaten my soul. But I think finishing the first draft last night released the little dam I'd built up on my Fraser/Vecchio love because this morning I was seized by the overwhelming desire to watch them being adorable together and squee ( Read more... )

I am utterly incapable of resisting them.

Why would you want to? They are lovely and sweet and should not be resisted.

I was just rewatching some of the later Season 1/early Season 2 episodes: They also touch a hell of a lot. And not just Ray-touching-Fraser, which would be the expected. Fraser will many times put a hand on Ray's back or arm or shoulder. And he is not a particularly guy.

There is an extraodinary amount of unnecessary touching. And often they'll stand right next to each other even though there's plenty of room on either side, both in the scene and in the shot itself. Plus, the Looking.

Your entry had GREAT appeal to me- I love this couple- they are so good for each other - their quirks work so well with the other that I get all sniffly just thinking about it. I am - amongst my fan acquaintances - one of the few who couldn't move on with the show when Vecchio wasn't in it anymore.
thanks for the nice views- and captions.
I think I'll be having a S1/2 marathon this weekend. This often happens after I've been to Shore Leave con- I see people or in someway get reminded of a show I haven't watched in a while and I have to jump back in. Your entry helped me pick out what I'll be jumping into 1st.Thanks again.

Yes! They really balance each other well, it's an equal partnership, which I love.

I'm always always always happy to share the Fraser/Vecchio squee with people. :)

What's your weekend look like? Maybe we can get Brynn and John in on it too.

This weekend is horrible. :( The in-laws are coming back this Sunday and aren't leaving for a week and a half. I'll let you know when they're gone, though. *g*

OH, my boys ::loves::

'Witness' was on tonight. Prison blues and the Milk Dud caper (and I just noticed this time that Gardino TOTALLY steals the Milk Duds himself as Fraser is reciting his rights!) = joy :)

And if someone could find a good cap of the scene in 'Heaven and Earth' where Ray threads the chain through Fraser's belt... mmmmmmmmmm... Ray knew how to handle that chain...

Oh goodness, I love 'Witness.' There's so much joy in this episode. (And the extremely sad exchange with Bob: "I haven't left yet." "You will, son." *SNIFF*)

Touching pic!spam. *makes note* That is going to be a FUN one.

Cap coming up later this afternoon.
