You know, I actually liked the 14-16 part the most honestly. The first 20 seconds was my favorite followed by probably the last 10ish.

Still, great job and it does work very well;)

It's good to know what works for people. :)

Thanks!

Awesome! :D

You're right, that totally should not work, but it absolutely does. I especially loved the beginning, that flash of Murron, and the end. Love how the end has closure, and still suggests that his job isn't finished.

I was surprised that I really liked the ripples too--the fact that they speed up with the music is what sold me on them. Not totally sold on that radial wipe, but I have to say, that's a tough bit of sound there to both have to transition and accent with. I have no idea what else you could have done. ;)

OMG TWO WEEKS OF VIDS YAY!

(Oh, and I jumped over to see if linzeems had started since she isn't on my f-list, and it looks like hers is being delayed, possibly indefinitely.)

Oh good, I'm really glad that that came across.

Thanks for the comments! And for the info about linzeems; I don't have her on my flist either so I had no idea.

Remind me to ask you stuff re: FCP, cause whenever I try to import the DIVX avis I've got, it always requests about 6 hours of fricking rendering to be willing to fuck w/ it realtime in the timeline. It's to the point where I'm willing to dump to beta, then redigitize, because that may well be faster.

I have divx codec and can watch them, but... any quick sequence setting tips?

What are the specs on your system? Slow rendering may be due to not enough RAM. If I don't respond by tomorrow, remind me to test out DivX AVI files in my FCP timeline - I always use either .m2v, .mpeg, or .vob so I don't know if mine might be slow with DivX as well.

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the comments! That's a good suggestion about the "breathless" line, it sounds like a good idea.

And you so do you need to start your second one. *tries to wait patiently*

Thank you for the comments!

Braveheart slow-mo'd the horse for me, but I love how it looks there. Interesting thought about the "racism" line, but, yeah, it's a significant moment in the movie because it's Wallace's wife being killed because she's Scottish.

The idea of pushing in on the cuts is also a good one. I'll keep that in mind.
