(no subject)
We seem to have found some place to live. *g*
The building itself was built two years ago, and the woman that's selling her apartment is moving in with her boyfriend. *g* It's kinda small, only 72m2, but it has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it overlooks the street. It's smaller than we're used to (then again, our house has three floors, 8 bedrooms all in all, and it's a bitch to clean) and we're going to have to sell tons of furniture, but I think it'll be worth it. The neighborhood is WAY BETTER and we're closer to almost everything and... well, IT'S NICER. And my mom likes it.
My mom and I were talking about how it's gonna cost us to get used to such a smaller place. It is, I'm not saying that it won't, but... we need to consider that three out of the 8 bedrooms are pointless. One used to be my library (desk and bookcase and very old desk) which now holds about a hundred books (old novellas and stuff) and one of the landlines. The other one, my grandma uses it to keep everything she says one day she will get rid off. And the third one used to be my bedroom until I moved to the one next to my grandmother and now it only holds my old bed and nothing more. See? We need to MINIMIZE!
The other place we were considering (the one where the bank might not give credit to the two couples wanting the two apartments we might want) is smaller still, only 70m2, so there's that. And... well, the district might be nicer (but just slightly) and of course it's a little bit more expensive. *shrugs* We're a little bit undecided. As soon as we know for sure, and I can take a bunch of pictures, I'm so posting them. *g*
