Well...my boss will have to talk to the VP of HR, who comes in in an hour, but she's thinking about moving me into the cubicle previously occupied by the guy who quit, hiring the runner-up from the round of interviews that brought me on to the property group, and having me help pick up the duties of the guy who left.
Babs asked me if I'd ever considered working here even with my background, and I assured her that I had. She seems to think we'd work well together and balance each other. Maybe this is an opportunity.
