For the record, I'm sick of my fire station. Not everyone can drop everything for something that gives almost nothing in return but headaches. I have to be at the stupid station on Palm Sunday, and with only a few days notice. I intentionally scheduled myself out of being at the station for Palm Sunday or Easter. At least I got them to push back the training time to after church, but it doesn't help that I probably won't be able to attend any Good Friday services because of the station, too.
Also, everyone else is able to put their job before the station, but I'm frowned upon for having conflicts between my academics and the station. Grrr.
I'm so close to resigning. Once they get two more EMTs and someone who can do paperwork to replace me, I might. I've had it.
