With the storms that ran though Kentucky, I got restless and did something I shouldn't have. Yes, I've been a bad boy.
Spent the day with the Red Cross. I stuck out my arm (Dammed nurse couldn't find an asshole, in a field of donkeys! much less my frigging ARM!), and gave a pint. (After that nurse, I needed a /quart/ and it wasn't blood! Maker's Mark or HorsePiss Beer come to mind.)
Then spent my time in Krogers and gave $100 for a cart full of canned goods. I, my employer, and a couple of others, are driving to Morgan Co. and West Liberty who was ripped apart by a EF3 (confirmed now) to donate this food and supplies.
I won't complain about my day, how I didn't get much done, and now I'm $100 poorer...people are a LOT worse off than me, so I'll smile though this.
Can I still grumble a bit, folks? Or is that not in good taste?
I thought so.
If you can spare $10 or so, go to:
http://www.wkyt.com/ and there's a link on ways you can donate right to the Red Cross for Kentucky victims.
If I find out anymore news on how to help, I'll post here.
I have one bit of news. I use an add-on to my firefox browser called "Web of Trust' Well it gave a red-flag to this site:
www.westernsky.com/
I wouldn't donate to this site now. Just wanted everyone to know.
