Well, I have said, several times I'm healing.
I think I really am now.
I started working a bit, and ouch...it bit back, so had to back off again. But now I think I finally found the right sequence to make this work.
- Keeping the shoulders warm. Sweatshirt, jacket, etc. All the time.
- use the Capzin cream
- heat pad every night.
- limited time on Zeus, the net connected computer. That's what's causing the major problems. I don't know how to fix this yet, but I'm thinking. (Yeah, that IS a problem.)
- use the laptop for work, in the bean-bag chair. Last night I worked on the framework of my web site, and no ill effects.
- Keep very well hydrated.
There has been progress. I have been able to wein myself from Ibuprofin at night, so I don't use that anymore.
So I'm healing it seems. Thank the goddess.
You wouldn't believe what this has been in the last year. Imagine a painful ache in your shoulders, numb, or tingling hands and fingers, sometimes severe, nausiating headaches (caused by the tension). Now take that and put it on 24/7 for 6 months. That's what I've been going though. Like a 3 on this
pain scale.
Now it's about a 2, and getting better. I still have some finger numbness, and shoulder stiffness at times, but seems only after I've been on Zeus for a bit.
Honestly this is ridiculous. Before my Rx with diabetes, I never had such problems. Sure I had a bout of CTS in my wrists, but that dissipate after I got my ergonomic keyboards. At times a mild tennis elbow but was cleared up.
Now I've had 2 bursidises in both shoulders (which isnt' much of a problem unless I lift my arm(s) too high.) this severe repetive strain injury in my upper back, starting to feel athridic symptons in my fingers and mild arthritic symptoms in my legs. in '10, I'm going to start invistaging on how to keep this from happening again, and clear up the remaining problems for good.
I've got a strong idea that my
Raynaud's syndrom (
wiki version) is the culprit to this. According to my doctor, I have just enough of this, to restrict some bloodflow, but not cause those scary looking entires in the wiki. So mild that's why I never even suspected this. But the restriction is enough that it can be a culprit in things like CTS, and repetitive strain injuries.
As for the next thing. Drawings?
Drawing with Flinters (The video)
chris_sawyer, and
srain has been a major help. The video too, has cleared up several problems on drawing, and I've gotten back to gester sketching again. So I will try to post my first fur picture soon. I'm really thinking I'm close to this now. Closer than I ever have in the last 8 years.
Lastly: Web site
I've been actually making progress on the framework of my site. I have worked on the web hub for the past 2 days. What's slowed me down is the JavaScript (JS) file that I use. Either I put ALL web pages in one big directory, or else put copies of the same JS file in every directory that has web pages that use it. Neither option is good. So I'm having to re-write the JS file to look for the stuff it needs, in one universal directory.
I've also had to adjust the start page's CSS, and JS for a universal directory as well. With that I refined and cleaned up the main (start) page, and totally re-wrote the code in that page. Finally last night I cleared up all the bugs and it looks good!
Now convert that start page into a universal template, and start building the framework.
I'm looking forward to finishing this. At least the business' web sites will be far easier to build, since all I'll do is, re-do the layouts. Which is FAR easier than coding.
[hehes] I'm still laughing at last night's Adult Swim's Family Guy. I swear I did NOT do the same as Peter did, when I had my - ahem - exam. Also I didn't smoke a fag, and give the doctor a kiss on the cheek either ;). I just took it in stride ;). I think the idea of a nekkid horse running down the road would have been too much for everyone ;).
Also the new episode. That was better than last week (which I still have to respond too.) It sort of made up for that bad episode, and yes, bless Stewie's psycho heart. :)
So that's it.
