Family guy - bad episode?
Was it me, or did anyone see the new Family guy episode "Jerome Is the New Black"?
I just saw it tonight on Adult Swim/Cartoon network, and frankly. I was shocked.
For one, I just found one laugh out loud line "I dated him 12 inches ago"
One snigger - the wet fart at the very end, which helped to lighten what just transpired.
Then the rest of it was dull (The gentleman's club cut away went on WAY too long), to the part that really hit me the wrong way.
They took the shows funnest and most enjoyable character, and litterly turned him into a base-ball bat. Having him kick Brian, in the nads was tasteless, beyond words. That rant was totally uncalled for, and I even felt as thought it was totally out of character for Quagmire. Granted I haven't seen many episodes so far, but still. I wasn't at all happy with him literally kicking a dog.
I felt so bad for Brian, and I wanted to hug him and take him far away after that. I've been kicked like that, and it hurts. I'm glad it was all fiction though, and not even with live actors. If Brian though he'd been kicked, wait till I'd taken Quagmire outside in the alley.
(sigh) Ok, I'm done, I needed to just vent a bit.
This season started out so well; "Road to the Multiverse" was totally enjoyable, and I can't wait to download it. But this one? I would prefer if they just wrote it off.
