I just finished 2 sga fic that I *really* enjoyed.  A bit off the wall at first glance, they were really well done and captured my attention from the very first to the very last word.

I was perusing through darkgate recs by paian  and decided to read Close to the Bone by synecdochic and it's sequels by ivorygates and green_girl , and Whoa!  What an awesome group of fics!  I totally couldn't put these down.  What outstanding writing by these girls.  It's got the J/D slash element, but really it was mostly all about the plot and what a plot it was.  I can see why ( Read more... )

If you'd like to try something different today, why not read Pianoforte by mirabile_dictu?  It's Rodney/Ronon and the author gives Ronon a backstory, which I really enjoyed.  The whole thing was very enjoyable, nice plot.  When I got to the end, not only was I sad to see it end, but I was pining for a soundtrack.  It's NC-17, but this story wasn't all about the ( Read more... )
