I'm 22 today!

And I have just had the best present in the world: a remote micro-camera with colour by day vision and infra-red night vision for watching wildlife!!! It'll beam the pictures straight into my waiting TV! I can finally find out what type of rodent is living in the ditch! And I can watch the birds at the feeders really close up! Tomorrow I have my interview for a PhD at the University of Manchester. This is also sort of related to my recent holiday in Porto but that post was getting too long and this is really at too much of a tangent for it anyway..

I think I've discovered where my surrealist streak comes from: not one but both parents. ( random pigeon ponderings or 'oh so that's where I get it from' )

I just got back from another blood test. This naturally means I've now got 3 more holes than I should have in my elbows and wrist. I hadn't been to this place before so it was a new nurse, I therefore got lots of interesting stats and sympathetic comments after each failed attempt.
