Does any one know for sure what the dates for next year Comic Con are? Did they reveal anything at this years Comic Con?

Hello everyone! Only 20 days until Con time! Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone here has camped out overnight for a Hall H panel or something of the sort. I just found out Doctor Who is doing a panel with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan first thing on Sunday and I am seriously considering camping out for it but I've never done that before. I only managed to get single day badges for three days. Can I pick them up all on the same day or do I have to pick them up day by day? Last year I had a four day badge but I had to pick them up somewhere pretty far from the Convention Center. Can anybody tell me how the single day process works because I don't want to have to go super far everyday ( Read more... )

Okay, so like everyone knows, getting tickets from Ticketleap.com was a nightmare. Especially if you're doing it in secret at work from your iphone. So,I didn't get tickets. After refreshing for nearly three hours every ten or fifteen minutes,  I had to give it up. I got my badges via refund badges last year, but I can't remember for the life of me ( Read more... )

So I'm from Indiana and I plan on attending Comic-Con 2011. I really need a group to go with, preferably con-veterans who know what's going on, etc.

Places to stay-The closest hotels are hella expensive, but what about the ones further away? Are they all (like, within 10-15 miles) filled up, or will there be places closer?

I think what I'm hearing is that people camp out in the rooms for the panels later in the day they want to attend - is that right? I'm used to all lines being outside the rooms and rooms are cleared after every panel. Otherwise it's just chaos ( Read more... )
