Heroes at Comic Con?

Just a curious thought (not my own but my brother in law's). We were talking about Heroes being canceled and he suggested they have another Heroes panel at Comic Con because that might spark old and new fandom in Heroes once more. I told him that I wasn't sure if they did panels for shows that have already been canceled, but I would check the ( Read more... )

Mmm, sometimes? I remember there was a Middleman panel in 2009 when the series had been canceled late 2008, at least, although that had a specific purpose-- to do a table read of the final, unproduced episode's script. (I am *still* bitter about missing it, grr. Thank God for youtube.) That's the only instance of an *official* panel for a canceled show I can remember, though. Fan gatherings are another story.

There was the MTS3K panel a couple years ago... it's long been canceled, but it was the 20th anniversary :)

There was a Farscape panel last year to coincide with the release of some DVDs, and there are still Firefly events if not full-blown panels. It's certainly a possibility.

There might be one in a smaller room, although definitely not in anything like Ballroom 20 or 6BCF. Maybe a fan-run panel or something (does SDCC do those like other cons do?) Although I heard rumor that a Heroes movie might be in the works, so that might trigger something?

Possibly. There was a Quantum Leap panel this year, and that show ended about 20 years ago.

Does anybody have any ideas or ways of suggesting this to Comic Con? Even if it is just a fan-runned panel? I wouldn't know how to go about doing it, but if I did, I will :) I guess.
No harm in trying.
