Global warming is a marketing scheme

England announced that clean air causes global warming. Since they passed there clean air acts, there climate has gotten 1 degree hotter per year. The environmentalists keep saying we need to clean up our air to stop global warming. The problem is there is no global warming. Our oceans are getting colder. Which means overall, our climate is getting colder. Ice caps are melting on 1 poll. But on the other poll they are getting much thicker. Co2 admissions are being blamed for global warming. But there is evidence against this. Scientists have proven that co2 increases after global warming starts. Not before it starts. Humans make a very small amount of the co2 that is in the environment. The scientists who speak out against the global warming theories have been punished for doing so. Many good scientists have lost there jobs, received death threats, or other forms of harassment and intimidation. The green movement is making a lot of money. They don’t want the scientists to tell people the truth.
The person started the recycling movement admitted that he made up the argument that we are running out of land. The fact is we have lots of land. American tax payers spend billions of dollars a year to fund recycling programs which are actually harmful to the environment. Recycling metal and glass is good and cost effective. But recycling plastic and paper is not cost effective. It costs a ton of energy. And is worse for the environment then throwing the stuff in a landfill.
People claim that humans made a hole in the ozone. The problem is that when scientists looked there was already a hole in the ozone. They have no way of knowing how long it was there. It could have been there back when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. There is no way to prove that humans did, or did not make the hole in the ozone. Personally I think it’s conceited to suggest that humans are to blame for it. Do we have to be the cause of everything? Can’t Mother Nature get credit for anything?
Now I’m not saying pollution doesn’t cause problems. I just wish the environmentalists would use credible arguments. The reason we should clean up the air is because we need to breath. Pollution causes a lot of illnesses. It’s a proven fact. And it’s an easy concept to understand. Another good argument for a clean environment is mutated animals. There are frogs adapted to survive with enough mercury in there system to kill several adult humans. That’s bad. If we get exposed to that mercury we would die. Self preservation is an excellent argument.
President Bush has been getting a lot of flack for his recent comments about environmental policies. I know it’s strange but I actually have to support him on this issue. He believes that Americans are smart enough to conserve for themselves, and government shouldn’t dictate to people how they deal with the environment. This is the most intelligent thing he’s said/done since he was elected. (Maybe even in his entire life.) The general population can think for themselves! What a concept!!
I don’t understand why we have to subsidies inefficient ways to recycle instead of looking for more efficient ways. I also don’t understand why we have to pay farmers not to grow food. The government really needs to stop that. We could greatly increase our exports and possible drop food prices. Even if there was a slight increase of food prices it would be offset by the fact our taxes would no longer be going to such a useless thing. We could put that money towards education instead.
