My . . . Brain . . . Hurts
Kudos to all who get the reference. It's not too obscure, so I send a snooty look the way of those who don't get it. I also think I hate my domestic/landscape/design architecture prof. Is there some reason he can't put together a lousy course kit? I mean, really. If you're going to be asking people to read single chapters and letters of various books can't you get the lousy things xeroxed for the class instead of forcing us to struggle with the reserves in the library? It's bad enough the class is at 8:30 in the morning and lasts for three bloody hours, we have to spend all that extra time (unnecessarily) in the library too?
I also have to do research for a four-page paper on something astronomical. I don't wanna do it! I mean, I have a subject and all but I just don't want to write the stupid thing. It's not the length. I'm not complaining about the 10-15 page essays I have to write in Nationalism in Modern Art or the Domestic Architecture so four pages isn't a big deal. But it's killing me. I actually don't know why now that I think of it.
And off to check on the course kit for the Nationalism course. Why everything has to be so da-- darn complicated is beyond me.
