My first painting of the semester is finished. After this, I'm doing a non-objective (aka abstract) work. this is about 20x30, acrylic. As with all paintings, it looks much better in person.

I just learned today that I'm being awarded an art scholarship from my professors, and the ceremony is on Sunday! That means I'm supposed to have 6 pieces that show the breadth of my skill, presentation quality, and I get to have it up in entry-way to the art building. woot. We were left to come up with a theme for our photography finals, after much flip-flopping on the issue I decided on focusing on a method. Double Exposure. I let the images really find themselves, whichever negatives fit together I put together. I was like match.com, a vehicle for images to find their perfect matches.
