I had a suprisingly good time last night.
We stuffed about 6 people into a stall and got high. I reminded me of the good ol' days.
Reveile rocked my socks, once again. :)
Resurface didn't play as good of a set as I hoped for, but I enjoyed it anyway.
I saw Chris and Mary. I don't know, I guess I just expected there to be more....something. I can't describe it. But it was cool though. When SpiL came on, I went up front to stand in my usual spot. They were standing there, but they both let me get in front of them. Mary was really sweet to me. I was really suprised. I guess I just sort of prepared myself for the worst.
SpiL played Once Beside for the last song. We all (I'm talkin around 40 people) jumped on stage and sang with them. Chris helped me on stage. Again, unexpected.
In the end, it turned out as a great night. After the way things panned out, I think I'm ready to try the friendly thing with Chris and Mary. She's a really nice girl, and because I was so set on expecting the worst, I wasn't able to see that.
I got to see all of my buddies again...I love nights like that.
I got home expecting to bawl my eyes out, but there wasn't one single tear. I think I'm really starting to move on.
