First of all, check out Tim Thomas's stats. Haters hated on him when Tuukka Rask burst onto the scene, and I will kindly ask said haters to take a large step to the left and suck it.

THIS IS STEPHEN COLBERT'S YEARBOOK PAGE! Bask in the glory. Bask, I say! Thanks, d0wnbytheriver!

We've broken into the Top 3 Snowiest Winters on Record for Boston. I believe Miss Dylan Dryer from WHDH measured us in at 51-52 inches for the year, with more snow coming on Saturday and Tuesday (though probably just flurries). Who knows what February holds in store for us weather-wise!

That said, the commute in this morning wasn't too terrible. We had a delayed opening, so I had to be in at 11. Though, since my alarm went off at six and I couldn't fall back to sleep that gave me five hours to make pancakes, fold clothes, drink a pot of coffee and do paperwork. Not such a terrible morning.

In other news, where are my W2s from both Suffolk and Michaels!? I would like to get a jump on my taxes, already!

Since it's Oscar season, italicize the best picture nominees that you've seen.

127 Hours
Black Swan
Inception
The Fighter
The Kids Are Alright
The King's Speech
The Social Network
Toy Story 3
True Grit
Winter's Bone

For one huge reason: This film was marketed to mainstream, straight audiences and it makes lesbians appear to be sexually confused.

I also found that there wasn't enough consistency with what was revealed about the kids. Half of the things they got wrapped up in, I found myself wondering, wait, who is this movie about and why do I care if their daughter kisses that adorable Scrabble dude.

...both Julianne Moore and Annette Benning were stunning in it though.

On that note, Julianne Moore is receiving the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award today! Was going to head over to Harvard to watch the parade, but stupid PT got in the way.

Also, this is the most ridiculous preview I've seen in just about forever. What on earth would make Cate Blanchett take that ridiculous role?

I get to see this hot little ticket do stand up tomorrow. Yay me.

Before I sign off, one plug. If you're looking to try different, fabulous makeup might I suggest Smashbox? I've been using their cosmetics for years and they're wonderful. They're cruelty free and part of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.

Because bunnies shouldn't have to have their eyes burned out to make your lipstain.

film: the kids are alright, tv: academy awards, actor: donald glover, product plug: smashbox, sports: bruins, actor: stephen colbert
