Well I guess I should explain the day I had yesterday.... Well I dont need to but it was awesome... first Justin picked me up at like 5:30... I was actually nervous cause OBVIOUSLY right now I dont want anything nor could I have anything if I wanted it..... He then took me to a place called Andrea's on Thayer street... My food= Greek poop.. Well at least I think thats what it was... So then when we were done I asked him where we were going.... He planned out the whole thing to be a surprise.. Because the other night we were taking about poetry so he thought I would enjoy a poetry slam.. GOOD CALL!!... we went to a cd place first and from the words of wisdom from one great Mike Fox "music should be everything to you right now" Im sorry if I quoted you wrong... Im sorry your in my LJ I love you mike!...Well I bought a Bright eyes cd and a BUSH cd.lol old school.... anyways.... then we went to this place called AS220... we walked in and it was this like grundgy hole in the wall... But there was so Much emotion in the walls you could cry. It opened with "open mic" ....here the people just went up and did there thing... one guy was amazing with his poem about hi9m looking at his drug abused self in the mirror.... It was breath taking...... Then finally there was was the "headline"... He was this amazing guy called MIKE MCGEE... Fucking AMAZING!! The quotes I have in here today are from him... then was the poerty slam... Justin and I were Judges.... This guy named Urban won... I wanted him to sooo bad!! He was such a good performer... his first peom was about going into dennys and the French toast starting a revolution on him. Wicked funny!... Then we left... we walked to the car and he tried to hold my hand.... ummm weird... when we got into the car we listened to bright eyes..... My mom insisted he come in to meet my sister.... that was cool cause they got along... and they were all talking about art and college and teaching.... Interesting... Then he made me walk him out... UHOH!!!.... but surprisingly he kissed me on the cheek whiched saved the awkwardness...... GOOD! It was nice though he knows I dont want anything... He told me all night how adorable I was... how sweet!... well tonights a URI night and I Love everyone
