Yay! Rain!
Boo! Umbrella in car. *sigh*
#1Son is encouraging my shopaholic nature by telling me that if we don't decorate enough, Santa won't come. LOL For now, this means buying him ornaments for the white tree he got for his bedroom last year. He wants blue ornaments. Oh, goodie! Shopping!
#2Son has an all star soccer game this afternoon. If it's still pouring rain, I won't be there.
#3Son reports that the play is finally coming together quite well. They perform Friday and Saturday.
I have introduced both #1Son and SH to Dexter. They both love it. My work here is done.
Thanksgiving approaches rapidly. I'd better start planning my menu. I think I'll just do a breast as none of my menfolk seem to like the drumsticks. I also need to stock up on beer and wine because we always drink a lot when we're all together.
The #1 Buckeyes lost to the unranked Illini yesterday. I couldn't watch. It was very, very quiet in Columbus last night and at Scrubs End specifically. SH and #2Son stayed at the game to the grim finale. The rest of the evening was spent on distracting entertainments: #1Son went to hang with his best buddy, #2Son talked endelessly on the phone with his girlfriend, SH watched a Tom Selleck movie, and I read fic by Emily Sim. #3Son never surfaced, doing homework after spending most of the day at play practice. I'm not sure he even knew the Bucks were playing. ;) Eventually, SH opened a bottle of wine, we watched some Dexter, and crashed. I guess there's always next year. *sigh*
