Okay, when I said I wasn't reccing any more

I skimmed the comments above, but I just wanted to say that one of my favorite things about the fic was that Harry's infatuation lacked fluff. He wasn't in love Malfoy, he was just intensely interested and attracted to him. I get tired of stories where lust and interest is too easily conflated with true love.

Yeah, I agree, it bothers me when they fall in love too quickly.

I suspected Anna as well because of the setting, and mythology and the little links at the bottom. It is slightly more cracky and snarky than her latest stuff, but it has that gradual development of feelings I love about her stuff. Still I didn't get that Anna feel. It's like all evidence points it should be her, but I just don't feel right about that guess.
Well, she's always the hardest one to pinpoint in a fest for me anyways.
I really enjoyed the fic. It was a curious blend of setting a pretty romanticized bud of a relationship between Harry and Draco (like it was pointed out earlier - respect and desire) against something edging very close to crack in everything around them. I thought the mix was very refreshing and worked really well.

Another indicator that this wasn't Anna's is that she recced it in her journal today.

Well, to be fair, Anna has a policy of linking to every hd_hols fic that's posted, so that wouldn't be an indicator one way or the other. They're not meant to be recs, just pointer links, I believe. That's what she did in worldcup.

Now Father of the Bride... any guesses there?

Oh, I haven't got around to Father of the Bride. Alright, since I just finished reading Lessons Learned (and in the process of trying to wrap my mind how to comment on it), I'm going for the Father of the Bride next :)
I never read Gay Aurors. Now there's a catchy title if I ever saw one :)) *adds to 'to read' list of doom*
