My parents and I, plus one of my cousins, went to church for Christmas Eve service, which is always a musical event and usually has songs and narration in English. This year the songs were in English but the narration was in Mandarin. 1) According to Wikipedia, amber eyes are distinct from hazel eyes. Granted, this is Wikipedia and I haven't gone hunting for better sources, but I also remember a Caucasian girl, a redhead, from elementary school who had irises I'd call "russet".
