Favourite Couples meme

Ganked from a whole bunch of people: Name your 15 absolutely favourite couples (het/slash/canon/fanon) and ask people to see what trends they notice about your couples. Try to pick different fandoms.

Instead of picking my *current* favourite pairings (most of which are from Stargate), I decided to include favourite pairings of the past. It'll make it easier to pick out trends in my pairings.

Lot of white boys--Julian Bashir (and, well, Garak) is the only one who isn't Caucasian. I really wanted to add John/Ronon to the list, but if I hadn't limited myself to 15 pairings I could've filled half the list with just John/whoever!

I'm wondering if you guys will catch the trends I have with female characters in het pairings (I don't really do femslash) and what you make of them. This kind of analysis probably would benefit from a more comprehensive listing-- I may have to consider doing that at a later date.
