Admitting you were wrong

Okay, I don't know anything about economics or business or trade. I do know that those of us north of the border were kinda annoyed by Obama's decision to not buy Canadian steel.

That said? I have the *deepest respect* for anyone willing to admit they've screwed up, and that they'll go back and fix something. *Deepest respect.* If Bush had simply said, "Oh man, I totally messed up that whole WMD thing," I would have had some respect for him.

Of course, in politics it might very well be a death-knell to admit a screw-up of such proportions, so I *almost* understand why he didn't apologise. Almost.
