NCIS Season 4; Christmas cards
I'm catching up on NCIS Season 4, working backwards from "Driven" 4x11 (Tony! singing! hee!) and I remember how much fun this show can be! But just now I tried looking for fanfic, and I'd forgotten how BAD it is in this fandom. Slim pickings when you compare to SGA or Supernatural. Ah well.
Still hating the Update Journal page. I don't understand LiveJournal's obsession with listing things by Most Recently Used and not by something sensible and logical like, say, the alphabet. The View Thumbnails pop-up window makes absolutely no sense. Well, okay. It makes sense if I feel like knowing which icons I've used recently... But who on earth really needs that kind of information?
ETA: Oh God, I'm wrong. The icons are NOT listed in order of most recently used. It's just... RANDOM. This is the stupidest thing ever.
I got cards in the mail today! (Also a letter from World Vision.) One of the cards is from ladystarlightsj! *hugs* Thank you so much, LadyS! And the other is from an old classmate who'd moved back to Japan in grade 10. She faithfully sends us cards for our birthdays and for Christmas, even though the rest of us have been terrible about writing back. The Christmas cards definitely helped to cheer me up :)
Work was busy busy busy. I haven't even started my tww_minis fic, or any of the others I promised to work on. Lots of stuff to do, gifts to buy, hotels to research, et cetera. Must go do dishes now.
