Blondes have more fun, they say

Found an interesting article about why guys like blondes (also The Blonde Wars), which also talks about skin colour in relation to blonde hair:
The reason women were traditionally called "the fair sex" is because, all else being equal, they really are fairer. "Although about only a tenth of the difference separating blacks from whites, there does ( Read more... )

Back to the girls, I completely forgot about Naomi Watts, who I think is absolutely beautiful, and blonde. I'm not sure if it's her natural color or not.

Nick Brendon looks fantastic in photos -- moreso than on TV, which is odd...(Am not the least bit surprised you find BB hot. *g* I didn't know about Nick Brendon though!)

Yes, he tends to look pudgier on television than when out of character, in photos, or in person. I'm not sure what that's about. And, hee, I didn't realize I was attracted to Nick Brendon either till I met him in person. Then I was like, "Whoa!"

As far as Ben Browder, lookswise, I think Michael Shanks is probably better looking, I think it's the mixture of looks and personality that I like, both with BB and Ewan McGregor. I also tend to, when I'm really attracted to someone's personality, think they look more attractive than they might actually look. Just about all my friends I introduced Chris to or showed a picture of Chris, said he was cute enough but not that hot, whereas I think he is. When I first met him, I didn't, but as I got to know him better, I got to the point, up to and including now, where I don't see him as being any less attractive than any of the hottest people imaginable. Chris has a sweet smile, but he is a bit overweight and definitely not "classically" appealing, based on Hollywood standards of beauty. But when I look at him, I see an incredibly attractive person. Which did bring me to an epiphany talking to Rachel about it a few weeks ago: it struck me that, huh, I actually do care more about people's personalities than their looks. I'm not shallow. Weird! ;-)
