A New Adventure
I received this via email today:
"Dear Ms Nichol
Congratulations on choosing the Open University Business School’s Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Based on your previous qualifications and experience, we are pleased to confirm that you meet our entry requirements and we welcome you to the MBA programme."
It's official; I will be taking my MBA starting November 1 this year and it will last for three years.
I don't think I can express how excited I am!!! This gives me something to build on for my career and changes ahead. I have always wanted to do my Masters degree, but was never sure if I wanted to do it in Education to build on my B.ED. or if I wanted to do a Masters in English or something else. This is a bit more what I am interested in - International Education and admissions/recruitment. I would like to work at the University of Edinburgh perhaps or Napier or wherever and still work with pupils, but older ones in a job that pays more than the pittance I get now.
Today is a joyous day.
