Consider me the Loyal Opposition.

However, it appears that, barring something truly weird, Barack Obama will become
the first black president of the United States.  Congratulations are in order.

If you know me, you know that I've made no secret that I'm decidedly conservative in my view of the world.  I do differ with so-called "mainstream" conservatives rather sharply on a few libertarian type issues like Gay Rights, Religion, and Abortion, but in general I utterly abhor the notion that I "need" the god damn government or a bunch of ( Read more... )
