Today, my dad had the lens of his eye liquified and vacuumed out. Now he has an artificial lens. For the first time in 45 years, he can see with out glasses. I haven't talked to him yet, but my mom says he isn't happy, really, he just says that "this is odd". He's out in the garden digging away - no pain, a little sore, no bandages or anything.
