Cross stitch
With my BAPs still on hold, I've been working on some smaller projects.
This is a Dimensions Daydreams kit I picked up on clearance a couple of years ago. I needed something to give my SIL for her birthday and I thought of this. It stitched up very quickly. I changed a few things. The pattern had a lot of confetti stitches in the background which I omitted. I also changed the border. I had some varigated floss that I wanted to play with so I did the border with it.
Here it is in its stand. Yeah, it's a little crooked but oh, well.
This is Brittercup Designs Brotherly Love. I found it in my stash while I was looking for the Daydreams kit. This also stitched up quickly, about 3 or 4 hours total. I changed the saying, making it refer to something fannish.
I had trouble deciding if the kitties were Ray and Fraser or Billy and Joe. I finally settled on Ray and Fraser because I think they're more likely to cuddle.
