Because it's the cool thing to do...

Semester 2

A1: AP English - Nemec
A2: Chorale - Nesseth
A3: AP Calc - Keil
A4: Band - Struyk
B5: AP Physics - Mytych
B6: Web Site Design - Scott
B7: Computer Keyboarding 2 - Scott
B8: Health 2/First Aid - Twenhafel/Nelson

And here's what's wrong with my schedule:

B7 both semesters is completely wrong. My independent study with Ms. Bradley is supposed to be a full year long. I don't know where the hell that Keyboarding 2 class came from - I never even took Keyboarding 1. And if they think I'm going to waste time my senior year on a Keyboarding class, they are sadly mistaken. I passed the flipping Consumer Ed test, so I don't need another one of those credits. The only way I would take it is if I could drop Web Site Design, just so I have my half Life Skills credit I need to graduate. Semester 1, that internship with Mr. Neil, is also completely wrong. For those who don't know this story, I tried to do an internship with him - oh yes, I tried, did the application and everything - but was turned down because I hadn't taken enough history electives. Even though someone who actually got an internship had less history electives than me, she was just going to have more after next year...but it was fine. I decided, hey, the history department doesn't like me, I know who does. So I filled out the thing to do an internship with Mr. Nesseth. When I went to see Knewitz at the end of the year to make sure she had my schedule right (it was correct at the time), she had me down for an internship with Mr. Neil. Because guess what. My name was on the list of people approved by the history department for an internship, the list the history department gave her. After all that. So I don't know who screwed up - Mr. Neil when he told me I couldn't be an intern, the person who informed Neil I couldn't be an intern...either way, I was done messing with it, and opted to stay with my theatre internship. At least, that's what I told my counselor. She ignored me, evidently.

I've already sent her an email about it, so hopefully this week I'll be able to begin the long, slow battle to get it fixed. I know my A days are pretty much locked (they look pretty awesome, though - Nemec-Nesseth-Keil-Struyk is a good combination), but there are three periods on B days that should could change. Family Living and Heath 2 have to run all the time, and there has to be another Bradley class in there somewhere.
