He’s filming everything he can, nonstop, because he wants to remember all of this forever. But when the coach reaches their hotel there’s one moment he doesn’t record.
They wait together in the back seat as the others file out, still singing in hoarse voices. Amidst the gathering dark and commotion no one is watching them, so he leans in wordlessly, fingers slipping into damp hair, feeling the gesture mirrored against the nape of his own neck.
The kiss is soft, and lingering, and perfect, and he won’t need a video to remember it for the rest of his life.
