John Scribner Presents: "The evolution of 'The Menaechmi', 'The Comedy of Errors' and 'The Boys from Syracuse,' or, All these plays Suck"
Yes, my paper is coming allong decently, but I have come to the conclusion that all three of the plays I am focusing on are fairly lousy. Even "Comedy of Errors" is pretty lousy by Shakepeare standards. "Menaechmi" is your standard Roman comdedy, and "The Boys from Syracuse" would never have been written if it wern't for nepitism. So this is what my weekend has been devoted to. Beautiful. But after all, we must all Sing for our Supper.
