So, the
OTW elections results are in. And they are disappointing, but not exactly surprising. There is power in having a Name, after all.
I do think this outcome will make the new Board's job harder than it needed to be. However, I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised.
I'm curious to see how the new Board is going to propose designing a
strategic plan, a
communications strategy, a better
software development process, an
HRM strategy (one that also includes mentoring, training, and revisits the volunteer sign-up process) and a marketing strategy.* I'm also interested to see how they plan to involve stakeholders within and without the organization in the planning and further development of the org and its projects.
*There may be more, but this is what I can remember off the top of my head.
