OMG! I passed 100K today on editing Anna AU, the fork-in-the-road Jericho novel I wrote last year. And I'm still in what feels like the first of three sections. Plus, I know the second and especially the third need a LOT more work too, and are rather scrappy in places. This truly is the monster fic from hell.
For the Duranies on my flist that might not yet have seen it: duranduran.com offers free downloads of the songs the band performed in Rome on May 12th. A small thankyou (and consolation prize) to the fans after they've had to cancel their UK tour as well as several European dates due to Simon having vocal problems. They were supposed to play Holland last night, but I must've had foresight or something, because I never even bothered to dig up my old contacts or buy tickets when the show was announced. There once was a time where me not going to see Duran Duran would've been a sure sign of the impending Apocalypse.... But now I'm hoping that the rescheduled date (and location!) will be more attractive, so who knows.
There was another point but I forgot, so, instead, let me tell you about the mmmm-delicious strawberry/banana smoothie with Turkish yoghurt I had earlier...
