Interesting observation, in a observationally interesting way

I'm currently working on translating the OTW-FAQ for their upcoming Board elections. In this FAQ, they explain cumulative voting, where every voter has as many votes to distribute as there are open seats. The FAQ also says that this is pretty common in many city council elections [in the US].

In my city, the council has 39 seats. Over here, it's just one person, one vote. Which, thank God. I can not imagine having to juggle 39 different candidates, and having to vote 39 times...! It's hard enough to decide whom to give my one vote to!
