In other news: I did what I swore never to do: I got myself a MySpace account…
I caved, when I got an invite from a former Real Life fandom infatuation, and through their account found all the other members of former Real Life fandom infatuation also having accounts. I am now suddenly updated on relationship statuses, births and deaths, and kids that grew from diapered toddlers into teenagers overnight (okay, in reality it was 14 years ago that I last saw them in person, but still…). And now, I’m not so sure about the “former” in former Real Life fandom infatuation…
I still detest MySpace’s user interface, though. Not to mention I had to hit it over the head three times before it finally adhered to my gimme-the-US-version request setting, instead of offering me the Dutch one.
