In other news, I seem to have misplaced a cat. Or rather, Sam has misplaced himself. To the deepest, darkest corner he could find. Yes, it's that time of year again: fireworks.
Today was the first day they officially went on sale (and don't get me started on the subject of 60 millions worth of Euro going poof--and then nothing... Are these people all insane?). It is not allowed to shoot off fireworks until New Year's Eve, but when was the last time you saw a Dutch person abide by the law? Exactly.
Ergo: Sam is going to hide out for the next four days...
