yesterday wasn't bad. yesterday wasn't good. yesterday was ok. im starting to realize that i am almost a completely honest person in real life and that i hold no inner feelings contrary to what i project most of the time. whereas many people hold deep secrets and pretend to be happy of sad to fill in their character at school. im just a straight forward and honest person and i don't know whether that's good or bad because that means that it's very easy to take advantage of me. *sigh* anyways, after a "normal" day of school yesterday i drove home in a state of lonliness and just felt like going to karate or some place where i actually excel. but i had signed up for national honor society volunteering at the bank of america halloween carnivel so i figured i had to go and complete those hours. it wasn't bad. there were quite a few people there including myself, jason, kathryn, matt, bryan, aylin, elizabeth, sandra, faith, haley, and a few more. we basically manned certain booths and from 6 to 9 families came and gave tickets to play our games while winning candy. it wasn't a bad idea and it looked like most of the kids enjoyed the games (plus it was cool to see all the kids dressed up). the costumes were awesome. my personal favorites were: batman, batman, batman, trinity, spiderman, and the hulk. Trinity was sweeeeeet. anyways, so jason and i manned a booth where you had to got three chances to throw a ball at an arrangement of "poison" bottles (fun fun). after most everyone left the group helped to clean up and for staying a little later got our volunteer hours tripled, this was good. then we walked to the parking garage where we chatted for a little bit and faith's mom hadn't gotten there yet so i waited with her for a while. eventually she saw her mom looking for her in the building and i went home to an empty house. that pretty much concluded my eventful evening. im tired now. -peace-
