Judi, go to Ben Davis High School in the auto area and get your car fixed. They fix it for cheap, do an awesome job, and only ask for money for the part to fix it. They don't charge for labor. Last year, when I just started working there, my power steering went out in my car and I didn't make much money. I checked with my mechanic, and it was going to be between $400-500 to get it replaced, so I decided to get it done in the Auto-repair at the high school and it only cost me $30...the instructors are all good mechanics and are there to make sure the kids don't screw up and do their job right. If you're not making much at a job, they'll work with you so that you can pay them back in increments if need me..but I doubt it'll be that much. Just wanted to let you know though, so you won't have to spend an arm and a leg at a regular mechanics.
