You didn't steal our book of mormon, or hide it, did you?

Ian, Kate and I are enjoying each others' company in the living room. Kate speaks up as if recaling something wacky.

"Oh, so, Cody... I was talking to my coworker today, Maggie. She's this cute, naive Christian girl, married this Egyptian guy, so..."

"So, like... crazy theological conflicts?" I ask hopefully.

"No, they're both total Christians... Anyway, we were talking about parking, and I was like, 'Don't you have a buddy?' And she was like, 'Yeah, but then I have to look at pictures of him wearing dresses in bathtubs.'"

"What."

"Yeah, so it turns out, back in Christmas, she was talking to this parking guy about the ticket she'd gotten, like, 'Why do I have to pay a ticket, it's Christmas, you guys won't listen to my appeal!' So the guy was like, 'Hmmm,' so they went and he took care of it. And he was like, 'Would you like to be my buddy?' And she said, 'Yeah, sure, okay!' 'R... really?' 'Sure, okay!' So he turns his computer monitor around, right there, and shows her this whole Flickr account of these photos."

"Like, his work computer?" Ian asks.

"Oh, yeah. She described them as all these 'photos of him in strange costumes standing in bathtubs.' Like, 'You can see these, 'cause you're my buddy.' And she was like, 'Okay, byyye!' And she sighed, like, 'What a freak! Your friend Cody isn't like that, is he?'"

Haha, those kooky naive Christian girls. When we meet, we'll just be scrutinizing each other like crazy! I'm sure we'll both grow from the experience.
