the parent needs to be extremely carful as all their energy will first go to the sparkling so they're fagile and the tranfer phase is delicate because the sparkling is still young. A specially trained medic must be there

i've checked Decepticon medical records and there have been sevaral unexplaiable deaths all of which had bond mates and sufferd from symptoms like that of a carriering parent
