Tea Thief
Tougane Chiaki entered the lounge at Linden Hall with a weary sigh, the air-conditioned building welcome after the oppressive summer heat outside. One table was already set with a pitcher of cold barley tea and a glass half-full of ice. Assuming Serizawa had placed the refreshments out in response to Tougane's text that he was returning to the dorm, though thinking it odd that the second-year was nowhere to be seen, he placed Canterella's case on the table, sat down, and poured the tea himself. As he lifted the cup to his lips he heard footsteps behind him and looked over his shoulder. A red-faced Kohinata watched him with wide eyes, a small bowl of ice cream in her hands. "Oh, it's you," he greeted before taking a long drink of tea, "you can join me." She did seat herself across from him at the table, and he hoped the ice cream would cool her off since her face was still unusually flushed.

Azusa twirled slowly in front of the mirror, eyes narrowing critically as she took in the way the white, frilly dress flowed around her figure. When she looked up her eyes met those of her husband in the mirror. Shuuhei smiled as he stepped forward and put his arms around her waist from behind. "May I have this dance, my lady?" he asked against her ear, then took her hand and spun her in a circle while they both laughed.

Fitting In
Sometimes Yorihisa wondered if he had made the right choice in accompanying Akane back to her world. The modern parts still didn't fully make sense to him, and he often felt out of place. It made him curious to know if that was how she had felt in Kyou, but given how much she wanted him to feel comfortable with their new life together he could never get up the courage to ask.

Given their similar hair and eye colors it was no surprise that their children were both redheads with amber-colored eyes. The boy had his father's gentle, quiet nature, and at five years old had already expressed interest in learning the violin. Their young daughter, constantly getting into everything at the tender age of two, was vibrant and theatrical in everything she did - her father sometimes smiled and said the instrument best suited to her was her own voice.

She shivered, goosebumps forming across her skin as he bared it to the candlelight and the chill in the air. "I'll keep you warm," he promised in a low tone that implied all the night had to offer.

Serizawa put off introducing his girlfriend to his mother for as long as he possibly could. In his mind the meeting would only result in mortification, likely his own. He had expected that his mother would pull out old photo albums and show them off as she lamented how cute he used to be. What he had not expected was for Kohinata to smile and offer her own opinion that she "preferred Mutsumi-kun just as he is". It had taken all of his considerable self-control to not rush them out of the house to somewhere they could be alone.
