Here's the ball, there's the pole, now where's the tether...
I just dropped off my cowboy boots to be repaired and the lady just stared at the destruction I wreaked upon my poor boots. She took a minute and said "Oh GOD! How long have you had these!?" I replied "Only since last April." once more she sunk into stunned silence.
When you can stun the lady at the boot repair store, you are doing something wonderful with your life. I imagine she thinks I spend my time hanging on the backs of motorcycles and being dragged around on my boots all day. Which I do.
